[UPDATE 4/4/13] – The strike has been deemed as illegal by the court and the flights are expected to be operated normally.
[3/4/2013] – The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority union have announced a 24 hr. strike tomorrow 4/4/2013 which will start from 05:00 and will end on 05:00 the next day 5/4/2013.
Disruptions and delays should be anticipated on most domestic flights within this time span.
- It is not a strike by airlines, airports or air traffic controllers/ATCs. It is a strike by regional civil aviation authorities.
- International flights are not affected.
- Cancellations and rescheduled flights are announced less than 24 hours in advance, in case the strike is called off or altered. If you call now, they may not have information for you.
