Seajets Consortium have announced the cancellation of their ferry Seajet2 which runs between Rafina (Athens port) and the Greek islands of Tinos, Mykonos and Paros for the dates of April 30th to May 9th.
Passengers booked on this vessel can obtain a full refund of their tickets’ cost upon presentation of the original paper tickets to their issuing travel agent, a SeaJets official port agent or the shipping company’s offices.
There are alternative solutions with other vessels from Rafina to the islands and also there are other sailings from the port of Piraeus as well. Due to this period being the Orthodox Easter, a time where many people travel for one of Greece’s most important holiday, you are advised to act as soon as possible in order to avoid unnecessary inconvenience. It may prove a bit more difficult to find direct replacements for inter-island connections (not from Rafina) depending on the travel date. In any case you are advised to consult your issuing travel agent as soon as possible.
