Weather Alert: Strong Winds, Low Temperatures & Storms To Hit Greece
The high-pressure system will start affecting Western and Northern parts of Greece on Thursday, January 5th. On Friday the 6th and Saturday 7th, all of Greece will be hit with very low temperatures, strong winds, snowfall and severe storms.
Weather Alert: Strong Northern Winds expected in the Aegean
Tomorrow Wednesday, December 14th, force 7 to 8 winds are expected throughout the Aegean. On Thursday and Friday there will be short break and again on Saturday, December 17th and Sunday, very strong winds are expected especially in the Southern parts of the Aegean.
Week long ferry strike in Greece suspended
The Pan-Hellenic Seamen’ s Federation (PNO) on Saturday morning suspended the ferry strike. Greek ferries are expected to immediately begin their operation connecting mainland and Greek island ports.
