According to GTP Headlines, Greek railways operator “Ergose” has announced that as of this summer, the Athens airport will be directly connected to Piraeus port.
That is great news for travelers flying into Athens, Greece and catching a ferry to the Greek islands on the same day. Today, travelers must either catch the X96 bus from the airport to the port, or the suburban train “Proastiakos” to “Neratziotissa” station and then take metro‘ s green line to Piraeus port.
